What we collect

No account, no name, no email is required to use VideoTwitter, and we do not ask for any. We do not store the post links you submit and we keep no download history tied to you.

What happens to a link you paste

It is sent to our server, used once to look up the post's public media, and discarded. The parsed result (the list of MP4 URLs) is held in server memory for a few hours so a popular post is fetched from X once instead of thousands of times. That cache holds the post's public data, not yours, and it is not written to disk.

Logs

Our host records standard request logs, including IP address, for a short period. These are used to enforce rate limits and to diagnose outages, and for nothing else.

Cookies

We set no tracking cookies. Your light/dark preference is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.

Third parties

• Cloudflare Turnstile — a privacy-preserving bot check. It does not track you across sites.
• Google AdSense — serves the advertising on this site and may set its own cookies. See Google's own policies for what it collects.
• X's CDN — when you download, your browser connects directly to X's servers, so X sees that request as it would any other.

Children

VideoTwitter is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect nothing from them.
