About VideoTwitter

VideoTwitter is a browser-based downloader for public videos on X (Twitter). Paste a post link, and it returns every MP4 that X serves, with the real file size next to each one so you can decide before you spend the data.

How it works

Our server reads the post's public media manifest, filters out the HLS playlists (great for streaming, useless for saving), sorts what is left by bitrate, and hands the list to your browser. On desktop and Android your browser then pulls the file straight from X's own CDN — it never passes through us. On iOS it goes through a short-lived signed proxy that adds a download header, because Safari cannot build large files in page memory without crashing.

What we don't do

• No accounts, no sign-in, no password will ever be asked for.
• No log of the links you paste and no download history.
• No private accounts. Protected posts serve nothing publicly, and we will not pretend otherwise.
